Bield is pleased to share an important update regarding our leadership structure and recent accomplishments with our valued stakeholders. Following the departure of our former CEO (Dr Lynne Douglas), an interim structure has been put in place that will provide strong stability and support as we continue to deliver our strategy and commitments.
Debbie Collins, Bield’s Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed Interim CEO. Debbie has played a significant role in leading the organisation and strengthening our continued commitment to operational excellence, project delivery and stakeholder engagement. The Board is confident that this interim appointment will provide the organisation with continued stability and strategic focus whilst the Board works towards recruiting Bield’s next CEO.
We look forward to sharing details of this exciting opportunity when the recruitment process commences in early 2025. We are committed to keeping our stakeholders informed at every stage, ensuring transparency and collaboration as we move forward.
In addition to this update, we are thrilled to celebrate recent prestigious wins at the TIS National Excellence Awards and the CIH Scotland Housing Awards. These recognitions reflect the collective commitment, expertise and resilience of our entire staff team, underscoring the high standards that Bield upholds. We are proud of their unwavering dedication, which continues to enhance our impact and drive positive outcomes in all areas of our work.
With a strong foundation and a shared vision for the future, Bield is poised to embrace new opportunities and build on our recent successes in the coming months.
