Bield Guest Rooms

Many of our developments have guest room facilities for visitors.

Who can use Bield’s guest rooms?

Guest rooms are available for:

➢ friends and family visiting Bield tenants

➢ tenants from other Bield developments

➢ staff or committee members on business purposes.

How to book

To book a guest room, contact the development directly. Rooms are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Maximum stay: 4 weeks (extensions possible in exceptional cases; discuss with the Development or Area Housing Manager). 

Booking details required

When booking, please provide: 

➢ Dates and total nights of your stay

➢ Your name, address, and connection to Bield

➢ The relationship to the tenant you are visiting (if applicable)

➢ Your telephone number (in case staff need to contact you)

Staff will inform you about:

➢ Available and shared facilities

➢ Guest room location and accessibility

➢ Charges and payment details

➢ Local area and BR24 information.

What to expect

  • Guest rooms are prepared with fresh bedding, towels, and a welcome tray (tea, coffee, and milk).
  • Facilities vary by development; check with staff for specific details.
  • Meals may be available in some developments; book in advance.
  • Guests are responsible for their own transport arrangements. Parking is limited at most developments.

Arrival times and check-in arrangements will be confirmed when you make your booking.

During Your Stay
If you have any concerns during your stay, please contact the Development Manager, who will assist you.

Check-Out
Guest rooms must be vacated by 11:00 am on your departure day. Please return keys to the Development Manager unless alternative arrangements have been made.

Payment for Guest Room Use

  • Payment in Advance: Payment should be made in advance where possible. You can pay using:

The charges for guest room use are reviewed annually, and the current rates will be provided during booking

Guest Room Booking Conditions

When staying in a Bield guest room, the following conditions apply:

  1. Occupancy: The number of guests cannot exceed the available bed spaces.
  2. Minors: Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  3. No Smoking: Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is prohibited in guest rooms and all common areas.
  4. Pets: Pets are not allowed in guest rooms, except for assistance dogs. If visiting a tenant, pets may stay in the tenant’s property, subject to Bield’s Pet Policy.
  5. Fire Safety: Guests must familiarise themselves with the fire procedures displayed in the guest room.
  6. Parking: Limited parking is available at some developments and is used at the owner's risk.
  7. Damages: Guests will be responsible for damages or breakages during their stay. Costs arising from vandalism, misuse, or negligence may be recovered, and future bookings may be refused.
  8. Behavior: Bookings may be terminated without notice if a guest causes nuisance or annoyance to others. Future bookings may also be refused.
  9. Check-Out: Rooms must be vacated by 11:00 am on departure day. Late check-outs may incur an additional night’s charge.
  10. Carers: Carers accompanying service users must ensure all necessary support arrangements are in place and have relevant information, including medication details.
